A
Continuous Flow System is designed for 24-hour,
constant flow operation with a lower concentration
of Cyanide wastes, up to about 2000 mg/L.
The Cyanide bearing waste is pumped through
a double-pipe heat exchanger into a reactor
vessel. The Cyanide complexes are destroyed
in the reactor vessel and the treated waste
then passes back through the heat exchanger
to maximize energy recovery. Reactor volumes
and flow rates can vary as current systems
range from 400 to 28,000+ gallons/day or 1,500
to 100,000 litres/day.
Our Continuous Flow System is the ideal
answer for high flow rates containing complexes
untreatable by other methods, including
iron Cyanide - we guarantee it.
The Continuous Flow System can also used
for treating Cyanide found in ground water.
